Y Kids 2 Child Care Director
The YMCA of Dodge County is looking for an enthusiastic, well-organized and self-motivated individual to oversee all aspects of the 6 weeks - 12 year old Licensed Child Care at our new Y Kids 2 location. This position includes the planning, developing, administrating, expanding and evaluating program and services, along with overseeing department staff. This is a full-time position with benefits and wages based on experience.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachlor's Degree in Early Childhood or 4 year degree in a related field preferred.
• Possess current CPR certification, or the ability to attain within 30 days of hire.
• Experience supervising staff, and the ability to work independently.

Member Representatives deliver excellent service to all members, guests, and program participants. Respond to member and guest needs, promote membership and programs, and maintains cleanliness and organization of lobby area. Preform member service responsibilities utilizing software system, cash register, copier, fax machine, telephone system and perform routine filing.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Previous cash handling experience, with the ability to count and balance daily transactions required. Current CPR and First Aid Certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire. Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills. Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community. Experience with database programing and other computer skills required. Good work ethic.
Part-time hourly. Morning and evening shifts available, includes rotating weekends with some flexibility.

Child Care Assistant Teacher
The Childcare Assistant Teacher aids in the responsibility for the education, health, welfare, and safety of children, reporting directly to the Child Care Director. Along with the lead teacher, is responsible for the successful day to day operations including curriculum development, and compliance with mandated regulations, parent relations, the safety and well being of all children in the care of the Y.

Current State of Wisconsin mandated qualification
Current CPR and First Aid Certification
Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma/equivalent
Must have a minimum of 80 hours of Early Childhood classes OR completed at least 3 credits in Elementary Education, or Child Guidance, or Child Development
Minimum of 80 days experience working with children
Must meet all requirements and be familiar with state licensing guidelines and requirements

School Age Child Care Teachers
School Age Child Care Teachers are responsible for the overall operation of the SACC program and for the safety of all the children that attend that site. This position requires cooperation with other Y staff, school staff, and parents/guardians. Requires acceptance of assignments and responsibilities requested by the School Age Child Care Director.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to apply. Two classes of Child Development (80 hours) completed. CPR and First Aid Certification, or the ability to obtain within 30 days of hire. TB test and Physical within 2 weeks of hire. Registry Certificate applied for within 1 week of hire. Completion of 25 hours of continued education is required every year.

Child Watch Staff
We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and outgoing person with experience working with children and a positive attitude to join our Child Care Staff. Hours are available for Monday-Friday shifts, mornings 8:45am-10:15am and evening 4:30pm-7:30pm, and Saturdays from 8:45am-10:15am. Applicants must be at least 15 years old.

We are looking for part-time morning and afternoon staff at the Y. Applicants must be 16 or older. Lifeguard certification or experience preferred. Lifeguards are responsible for ensuring the safety of the patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies and enforcing pool rules.

The Maintenance department is currently accepting applications for a part-time cleaning technician for our facility. The hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday noon- 3:00 pm. Plus one weekend a month (Saturday and Sunday) for 3 hours each day.
