About Our Child Care
Today's families face many demands along with an increased focus on early brain development requiring great support to nurture children's potential. Child care and early learning programs at the Y focus on holistically child development through a safe and healthy place to learn foundational skills. These skills include developing healthy and trusting relationships, along with building self-reliance based on caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
At the Y, we believe values and skills learned early on are vital building blocks for quality of life and future success. Our Child Care, School Age Child Care (Before/After School), School's Out Fun Club, and Camp Okwannim Summer Camp programs are staffed with individuals who understand the cognitive, physical and social development of children. Children need to feel connected and supported in trying new endeavors while receiving positive reinforcement from parents and families.
At the Y, young children learn trust and security, preschoolers experience early literacy and discover their surroundings, and school-age kids make friends and enhance advanced skills. Most importantly, children establish and deepen their moral understandings to build their confidence today while preparing to contribute to society tomorrow.
We accept My WI Child Care EBT and YMCA of Dodge County Financial Assistance.
